This project is the result of the meeting of performer choreographer, dancer I Fang Lin and visual artist Jocelyn Cottencin. Ban Ping Shan is a story of appearances, appearances of forms, of figures that have traversed the course of I-Fang Lin's dance over the past twenty years.
This piece navigates between performance and choreography, between sculpture and image, where the question of writing in the present of these ghosts becomes one of the challenges of this project.
The stage is a landscape where each protagonist (music, light, body) is independent but dialogue through friction and collision. The representation space then becomes the possible place for these appearances which borders on the limits of our imaginations.

Ce projet est issu de la rencontre de la chorégraphe performeuse, danseuse I Fang Lin et de l’artiste visuel Jocelyn Cottencin. Ébloui c’est une histoire d’apparitions, d’apparitions de formes, de figures qui traversent le parcours de la danse d’I-Fang Lin durant ces vingt dernières années.
Cette pièce navigue entre performance et chorégraphie, entre sculpture et image, où la question de l’écriture au présent de ces fantômes devient un des enjeux de ce projet.
La scène est un paysage où chaque protagoniste (la musique, la lumière, le corps) est indépendant mais dialogue par friction et collision. L’espace de représentation devient alors le lieu possible de ces apparitions qui frôle les limites de nos imaginaires.
