PRATICABLE 7 / LE CENTRE DE DOCUMENTATION
Praticable 7, documentations centre is designed as an environment, a space where you can take a seat, watch videos, check out books and experience of the work process. The installation proceeds by analogy and association. Various projects are presented from the performance to the book, from video to installation.
Jocelyn Cottencin chose to redeploy an installation designed in 2010 for the choreographer Alain Michard. The different areas of the installation are associated to do some activities: read a book, watch a video, or watch posters. The viewer is invited to move physically and intellectually in different aspects of his work and to establish links between the various projects of the designer, it is expressed in publishing, in facilities or choreography. He also presents his latest project takes the form of a performance and a film, Monumental.
For Recto Verso exhibition, Jocelyn Cottencin also wished activate one hand an edition "typographic specimen" 2,000 pages making a return on the characters drawn from fifteen years.

Praticable 7 est conçu comme un environnement, un espace où l'on peut prendre un place, regarder des vidéos, consulter des livres et faire l'expérience du processus du travail. Le dispositif procède par analogie et association. Différents projets sont présentés allant de la performance au livre, de la vidéo à l'installation.
Pour cette iexposition, Jocelyn Cottencin a choisi de redéployer une installation conçue, en 2010, pour le chorégraphe Alain Michard. Les différents espaces de cette installation sont associés à des activités : lire un livre, voir une vidéo, ou encore regarder des affiches. Le spectateur est ainsi invité à circuler physiquement et intellectuellement dans les différents aspects de son travail et à tisser des liens entre les projets variés du de l’artiste / graphiste, qu'il s'exprime dans l'édition, dans des installations ou des chorégraphies. Il présente également son dernier projet qui prend la forme d'une performance et d'un film, Monumental. Pour l'exposition Recto Verso, Jocelyn Cottencin a également souhaité activer une édition « spécimen typographique » de 2000 pages faisant un retour sur les caractères dessinés depuis une quinzaine d'années.
